This dynamic science course connects students to the natural world above and below the water’s surface. Through hands-on exploration, students will study both gardening and marine life, discovering how plants and animals work together to support healthy ecosystems. In the gardening unit, students will plant, grow, and care for their own gardens while learning about soil, pollinators, composting, and sustainability. They’ll see firsthand how sunlight, water, and nutrients shape the growth of plants and the health of our environment.
